General Section
§ 1 General Information
Personal data is any information relating to your personal or factual circumstances, i.e. data that identifies you or can be used to identify you. This includes, for example, your real name, your address, your telephone number or your date of birth. Personal data also includes data that can be related to a person, meaning data without a direct reference but from which a person can be identified, such as an IP address.
Data relating to an individual also includes data generated in connection with accessing www.schadowarkaden.com
via your client (browser), which is stored in so-called log files on the servers of RIVG and its technical service providers.
For the operation of our website, we process information that is strictly necessary within the meaning of Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG. This information consists of so-called server log files, which store the name of the accessed website, file, IP address, date and time, browser type, and the requesting provider.
Server log files are stored for security reasons (e.g. to investigate misuse or fraudulent activity) for a maximum period of seven days and are then deleted. Data that must be retained for evidential purposes is exempt from deletion until the respective incident has been finally clarified.
When visiting RIVG websites, personal data is also processed automatically in anonymised form. This includes usage data such as the beginning and end of your visit, the pages you access or the duration of your stay on the portal. This data is not evaluated on a personal basis.
§ 2 Contact
When contacting us (via contact form or email), the user’s information is processed for the purpose of handling the enquiry and its processing in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

and in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de

§ 5 Use of Cookies
Cookies are small amounts of data that are transmitted to your computer together with the data you actually request from the internet. These data are stored and kept available for later retrieval. RIVG uses the following types of cookies for www.schadowarkaden.com
:
Session cookies:
These are cookies that are stored on your computer only for the duration of an internet session. They are deleted after the session ends, i.e. when you leave the website or close your browser window.
Persistent cookies:
We use persistent cookies for user authentication, which serve to recognise visitors and are stored on your computer for future sessions. These cookies are valid for up to 120 months.
Google Analytics cookies (data collection for optimisation purposes):
Subject to your consent, we use Google Analytics, including Google Signals and the User-ID function. This consent can be withdrawn at any time in the cookie settings. Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”) and uses cookies, i.e. text files stored on your computer, to analyse your use of the website. The legal basis for processing is Section 25(1) TDDDG.
The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, since IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address is shortened by Google beforehand within Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide other services related to website and internet usage. This website uses Google Analytics reports on demographic characteristics, in which data from interest-based advertising by Google and visitor data from third-party providers (e.g. age, gender and interests) are used. These data can be deactivated at any time via the ad settings. Users’ personal data are deleted or anonymised after 26 months.
Further information on data use by Google can be found at:
google.com/technologies/partner-sites?hl=de
policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=de
adssettings.google.com/anonymous
We may also use “Google Tag Manager” to integrate and manage Google analytics and marketing services on our website.
User-ID function:
We use the User-ID function. With the help of the User-ID, we can assign a unique, permanent ID to one or more sessions (and the activities within those sessions) and analyse user behaviour across devices. In general, you also have the option to delete cookies via your browser settings and to configure how your browser handles cookies. Please note, however, that rejecting cookies in general may limit the functionality of the services.
§ 7 CCM19 Consent Manager
Our website uses CCM19 to obtain your consent for the storage of certain cookies on your device or the use of certain technologies and to document this in a data protection compliant manner. The provider of this technology is Papoo Software & Media GmbH, Auguststr. 4, 53229 Bonn (hereinafter “CCM19”).
When you access our website, a connection is established to CCM19 servers in order to obtain your consent and other declarations regarding cookie use. CCM19 then stores a cookie in your browser to assign the consents given or their withdrawal. The data collected in this way are stored until you request deletion, delete the CCM19 cookie yourself, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
The use of CCM19 is carried out in order to obtain the legally required consent for the use of cookies. The legal basis is Article 6(1) sentence 1(c) GDPR.
Data processing agreement
We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) for the use of the above-mentioned service. This is a contract required under data protection law, ensuring that personal data of our website visitors is processed only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
§ 8 Rights of Users
You have the right, upon request and free of charge, to obtain information about the personal data we have stored about you. In addition, you have the right to rectification of inaccurate data, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and erasure of your personal data. You also have the right to data portability in accordance with Article 20 GDPR and to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority if you believe that your data has been processed unlawfully. You may also withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.
§ 6 Google reCAPTCHA
To ensure sufficient data security when transmitting forms, we use the reCAPTCHA service of Google Inc. in certain cases. This is primarily used to distinguish whether an input is made by a natural person or abusively by automated processing. The service includes the transmission of the IP address and, if applicable, other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service. These are strictly necessary information within the meaning of Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG. Google Inc.’s differing data protection provisions apply in this regard. Further information can be found at: policies.google.com/privacy.
